Bibiche was founded by Crescence Mekounde (nickname Bibiche) in Norway in 2016. Bibiche came to Norway in 2010, educated as a fashion designer from her home country of Cameroon.
Bibiche was founded by Crescence Mekounde (nickname Bibiche) in Norway in 2016. Bibiche came to Norway in 2010, educated as a fashion designer from her home country of Cameroon.
As there are very few job opportunities for fashion designers in her home town of Stavanger, Bibiche had to look for alternative work opportunities. Bibiche had always been interested in makeup and beauty products and started gradually working as a makeup artist. She now has more than 6 years experience in her trade.
One thing Bibiche noticed from her early experience in makeup work, was the poor selection of products available specializing on dark (African and Asian) skin tones. Based on this, she has made selection and application of products on such skin types, her own specialty.
Bibiche is mostly self-taught at her skills but holds a Certificate of Completion from a 12-week Makeup Course from Tyme Academy.
As work opportunities increased significantly during the last year, Bibiche decided to formally register her company and establish this Internet site.
